    Before traveling other countries, there would be some differences as values, beliefs, communication styles, and concepts of time.{1} So people who are going to travel to foreign country, theyCut need to{***}MissingW aware that those things are different between their country and other countries.

    Punctuality is not big problem for foreigner because Koreans have some conception about it. Korean like accept something good behavior from advanced countries as America, or some Europe countries so they are trying to be good person and good country. But a few years ago, they were not really interested in punctuality. I think I heard that some foreigners told about Korea that they are not punctuality as America on TV. And it shows to all place in Korea and began some advertisement about punctuality. After that, people have changed rapidly and now, it is sure that it is not really big problem.

    Korean has two kinds of speaking; to friend or younger and to older or higher level people. When people meet for a first time, they use polite words{2}. After that they ask each age and change their method of speaking. Not all people do but some people want{3} that someone who is younger than them, they wants younger people use only polite words or they get angry because they think younger people don't treat them as older.

    When people talk between upper and lower classes as teacher and students, private soldier and commissioned officer, unless they areWChoice friendly relationship, lower level people usually don't look at high level people's age{4}. Americans can't understand this but this is traditional behavior for Koreans.{***}Choppy If they see high level people's eyes when they talk, it looks like they are trying to challenge them. It was hard for me to see my instructor's eyes when we talk in class. They required me to see their eyes when we are talking. In America, avoiding eye contact is excuse??? but not in Korea.

    Development of internet makes people to find easily what we want so it would not be difficult to find other countries cultureAwkward and people's behavior. When I see some peopleCut some foreigner who do not follow the country's rule or culture that they are staying, I want to tell them that just go back to their country. It is global age. Many people travel many countries and if they don't follow the country people's behavior, onSpl one will like them. Study about the country that you will visit before traveling is a small courtesyAwkward.
